I'm hoping for a mirror mount solution, but I want to keep the stock CB whips on and I don't know how to get to the mirror arm's hole to feed the wiring, plus it has "California style" mirror arms. I would prefer a quad band antenna, unless there are no good ones out there, then I'd consider multiple antennas, but I don't know the first thing about diplexers. I'm looking for the simplest install possible. It has only one antenna connector, a 259. I am going to be purchasing a TYT TH-9800, it's a Chinese clone of the Yaesu FT-8900R. The truck currently has dual CB whips on the mirrors and the original wiring strung through the mirrors, which I would like to keep as-is. I'm in a company-owned 2012 KW T-660 and I can't make any permanent modifications to the truck. I'm looking to get into ham radio and I'm looking for antenna recommendations and installation help.
